What is the best time of the year to visit Isla Margarita?
There are no well defined meteorological seasons.

Do I get vaccinated prior to departure?
No, it is not required to get vaccinated.

How far is the posada from the airport?
The posada is located at only 25 minutes by car from the airport.

Does the posada offer a transfer service from and to the airport?
Yes, but it is not included.

Is there a residential centre nearby?
Yes, the city of Juan Griego is only 5 minutes from the posada.

Is it possible to rent a car?
Yes, a car rental service is available with return and pick of vehicles at the posada.

Is there a local taxi line?
Yes, with base in the city of Juan Griego.

How far is the beach from the posada?
The beach is at only two hundred metres. The posada provides mountain bikes and a shuttle service free of charge.

Do I have to bring beach towels?
No, they are not needed. They are supplied by the posada.

Is it possible to organize excursions outside the island?
Yes, it is possible to organize excursions to Canaima Park, Orinoco Delta and to the archipelago of Los Roques.

Can you book internal flights?
Yes, our office will deal with everything, from your arrival in Venezuela to your departure.
